Word Bird is one of my favourites and she's big - 58.5 cm tall. She is a real character! You can operate her beak or place your hands in her wings to flap and wave. She has a bald pink bottom which kids find strangely funny.
Grab her a basket, fill it with straw and make her lay some eggs!
Word Bird comes with downloadable activity ideas to create a great metalinguistic task for pre-schoolers and those in the early years of school. Each day a new written word goes inside a plastic egg.
